Nantucket Blaze

“Nantucket Blaze” is a second painting that came from my trip to a Collector’s home in Nantucket MA and this painting was completed entirely with tube paint and palette knives. I felt that the palette knife enabled me to carve the grasses out of the thick paint impasto I was applying. Again, the fall colors from the wild blueberry bushes in the dunes were spectacular.
