Front Daylight

“Front Daylight” A few years ago we had one of those Nor’Easters that New England is known for where we got 12 inches of snow in a day. Around midnight everything cleared and the moon came out, so I took a picture and painted that small pastel the next day. As I was working on that painting, I took a break for lunch and saw this same scene at noon – on the day after the storm – and the sun was shining brightly on the new snow. So I painted that scene as well!
