Carter’s Sunflowers

A friend from my hometown (Duxbury MA., where I grew up) sent me this picture as a potential inspiration for a painting so I completed this in pastel, as I felt that I could quickly capture the emotion of the wild sunflowers as they might move with a slight breeze.
