Inner Excitement

I don’t always know what I will be working on when I enter my studio to paint, as I often have as many as 4-5 different paintings going at once. I sometimes walk in and one of the paintings practically beckons me to work on it and this is what happened when I started “Inner Excitement” (48” x 36”).  

 

 I was feeling happy, healthy, and optimistic and I just started painting what I was feeling with my palette knife. “Inner Excitement” is an abstract expression of the inner excitement that I was feeling that day in my studio.
